Major life events
- Getting married (marriage automatically revokes a previous Will)
- Separating or divorcing
- Having a child or grandchild
- Buying or selling a home
- Starting or selling a business
- A significant change in finances, inheritance, investment, pension
- The death of an executor or beneficiary
- Moving abroad or receiving assets overseas
A good rule of thumb
